Dubai

Tourism: SkyDrive, collaborating with AeroGulf Services, intends to introduce sightseeing flights around Palm Jumeirah using up to 50 eVTOL aircraft.

Operators: Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation, SkyDrive

Timeline: Joby aims to commence operations by late 2025 or early 2026, while Archer targets a 2025 launch.

Infrastructure: Four vertiports planned at Dubai International Airport, Downtown, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.

Services: Joby will offer air taxi services, reducing travel times significantly. Archer, in partnership with Falcon Aviation, plans to operate flights over water between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi

Services: Joby’s S4 piloted 4-seater aircraft, capable of speeds up to 200 mph with a range of 100 miles, will facilitate 30-minute flights between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Archer’s Midnight 6-seater aircraft, in collaboration with Falcon Aviation, will offer similar services.

Operators: Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation

Timeline: Both companies plan to launch services in 2025.

Infrastructure: Vertiports to be established at Marina Mall and other strategic locations.

Ras Al Khaimah

• Operator: Skyports Infrastructure
• Timeline: Air taxi services expected to launch by 2027.
• Infrastructure: Development of vertiports to connect key tourist destinations, including Al Marjan Island, Al Hamra, and Jebel Jais.
• Services: Aimed at enhancing tourism by significantly reducing travel times to major attractions.
