Unreal Engine 5.3 projects in 2024

My career began in early web and mobile web development, utilizing then-emerging technologies such as JavaScript, Flash Lite, and WebGL. During my stay in Tokyo, Japan, from 2003 to 2005, I was among the early pioneers of QR codes, a testament to my long-standing focus on Asia as a vibrant market for mobile phone technology, spanning from India to Indonesia.

I hold a BSc in Computer Games Production from the University of the Arts London, London College of Communication (LCC). This education, combined with my hands-on experience, has provided a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of digital arts and technology. It has equipped me with a profound understanding of interactive media, enabling me to innovate and excel in creative technology roles.

Since 2016, under the BUDOTS MEDIA brand I established, I have been pioneering the use of 360 cameras, capturing and creating immersive experiences to promote tourism and real estate in the Philippines.

Furthermore, since 2017, I have conducted thousands of drone flights for 3D photogrammetry, employing advanced techniques like Gaussian splats to achieve unparalleled realism in digital reconstructions.

In addition to my work with VR and 3D photogrammetry, I have developed AR filters for platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok. These filters have reached wide audiences, showcasing my ability to blend creativity with technology to craft engaging digital experiences.

This year, I had the pleasure of demonstrating the merger of 3D captures with my experience in AR filters at the Game Developers Summit in Boracay. In collaboration with Mata.PH, I presented a VR experience of the LIND HOTEL on META QUEST2 and QUEST3 devices. This experience not only deepened my understanding of VR’s potential across various industries but also motivated me to designate UNREAL ENGINE 5.3 as my primary platform for exploration.
