UK construction runs on information. The UK BIM Framework and ISO 19650 mean every building should have a structured digital record, but many existing buildings only exist as PDF drawings. That gap is where our digital twin work starts.
From PDF to 3D
For London hotel projects we take architects’ general arrangement plans, import each floor as a scaled underlay in Blender, and model on top: slabs, walls, cores, lift shafts and staircases. The result is a to-scale 3D model that matches the drawings floor by floor.
Adding reality capture
Floor plans give the design intent. Drone photogrammetry and Gaussian splatting give the as-built reality: façades, roofs and surroundings. Combining both creates a twin that is accurate inside and photorealistic outside.
